Serge used to say that he never had any kind of diet and he ate anything he felt like eating at the moment. Yet, he substituted this with a heavy workout, especially before the championship.
Serge Nubret Workout Routine
The main secret behind Serge Nubret routine is he always keep the resting time minimum and exercise for a long period of time. Even, he always do 2000 times of sit ups each morning before heading to his other routines. This is of course seems impossible for most people.
The good news is, if you want to follow Sege Nubret’s step, you don’t need to push yourself to the 2000 sit ups at one time. Instead, Nubret suggest people to do the sits up to the maximum the number they can without resting. Resting is not allowed as it will affect the result. And to switch to other routine, you are only allowed to rest for maximum 1 minute. The suggested time though would be 30 seconds only.
Other than sit ups, Nubret splitted his workout each day for a week so that he can focus on a certain parts of body that day. For example, if it’s Monday, he would only trained his chests, abs, and quads while on Tuesday his focus would be on back, abs, and hamstring. The only day to rest for him every week was on Sunday yet on that day he would still exercise his abs. This is probably why Nubret possessed that iconic body in body building.
